• Utilized Solidworks to design and improve AR components with backwards compatibility.
• Operated and programmed a CMM to inspect and monitor part dimensions.
• Generated drawings and applied GD&T to CNC components for manufacturing.
• Identified quality issues and determined solutions for manufacturing to continue.
• Programmed and created documentation for 50 Watt MOPA fiber lasers.
• Developed fixturing for high quantity laser marking/engraving.
• Automated part cycling on CNC milling machines utilizing UR robots.
PLEXUS CORP. - QUALITY ENGINEERING INTERN
Boise, Idaho | 2019
• Conducted First Article inspection and First Article Inspection Reports tandem with appropriate certificates of conformance for each sub-component manufacturer (traceability).
• Ensured product compliance to customer specification, regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as AS9102.
• Met with source inspectors regularly to ensure products were meeting customer quality requirements.
• Determined non-conformance, such as product not being built exactly to engineered drawing, and resolved customer complaints through containment, root cause, and corrective action.
• Monitored on-going manufacturing operations to ensure quality issues were quickly addressed and resolved.

CHRIS REEVE KNIVES - ENGINEERING INTERN
Boise, Idaho | 2018
• Designed and modeled CNC machine fixtures.
• Drafted mechanical drawings and applied GD&T practices to convey clear and precise drawings.
• Improved specific parts by adjusting tolerances to increase the quality and performance of the machined knives.
• Operated and programmed a CMM with optical measuring abilities.
• Designed and modeled a polishing machine for titanium knife handles.
• Improved continuity between drawings and models with the manufactured items.

TREASURE VALLEY SERVICES - JUNIOR ARBORIST
Boise, Idaho | 2017
• Managed small jobs and completed work efficiently and to a high standard while keeping the customer happy.
• Operated equipment ranging from both small and large chainsaws, stump grinders, and bucket truck.
• Drove and operated company truck and trailer to and from jobs discerningly.
• Maintained equipment every day, kept them in working order and made sure they were safe to use.
HIGHLIGHT TECHNOLOGIES - LASER TECHNICIAN
Nampa, Idaho | 2015 –2016
• Developed modification plans for existing process procedures and equipment to improve operations.
• Evaluated customer specifications for mechanical design requirements and tested/ran newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of specifications. (Nd:YAG and CO2 laser systems)
• Handled all I.T. issues (small company); troubleshooting network, workstations, and printer problems along with laser system problems. This included working with print servers, CorelDraw, AutoCAD, WinLase, QuickBooks, ACT!, and Microsoft Suite.
• Established and maintained effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with customers, suppliers, and outside contacts.
